Composite Window
This window is used to control and track the compositing process.

The top section shows the currently active tie points.

The second section shows the correlation parameters. The only items you can change are
Correlation Window Length: The number of meters you want the correlation window to cover.
The third section is a series of radio buttons that select various parameters of
the cross correlation.
- Restrict the Xcorr Window to a Single Core:
- Keep Xcorr in Core: Even if your specified window would cross a core boundary, we
stop the window at the core boundary. This could cause a slight corruption of the
cross correlation since the reference and the moving windows may be of different length.
(Although, with our normalization method, as described in
Cross Correlation Window, such corruption is slight.)
- Let Xcorr Window Span Cores: The Xcorr window can cross a core boundary. This too can corrupt
the cross correlation in that there may be a gap across the core boundary.
It would be best to keep your cross correlation windows away from core boundaries.
- Shift is for:
- This core and all below: The chosen shift will affect the current moving core, and all cores below
it.
- This core only: The chosen shift will change the position of this core only.
If you have picked a reference point, and you
have not used the right mouse to move a section yet,
you are in a reference state.
If you have picked a reference point, and you have
moved a section, you are in a tie state.
In either case, if the "This core and all below" button is checked, your move will be for, um, this core and all cores below
this core.
Caution
Using this option may corrupt the Affine Table.
- Correlation Locking:

The manual shift button will shift the core at the reference point by the given number
of meters. There is also an undo button for the manual shift.
The Undo Button,

will undo either the last shift you have "Core Only" active.
It will undo the last tie shift if you have "This Core and All Below" active.
This button will undo the last shift of the active track, and then update the
Affine Preview Window

This section has three buttons:
- DISMISS: Which will close this window. To reopen it, choose a process from the
Process Menu.
- Defaults: Set this menu's user parameters to their (original) default values.
- Help: Show (um) this help file.
